As a life long bibliophile, a former librarian, and a seminary graduate I love books. They are an addiction of sorts, consuming precious time and costing valuable money. Shelves filled to capacity line the walls in our home, and I have nearly twenty boxes in storage. Needless-to-say, I am not lacking for good reading material or frequent escapes from other responsibilities. It is all too easy for me to open a book and close off the rest of the world.

So, in this section of the blog, I hope to share reviews of books that I read. It will not be comprehensive, including all that I read. Nor will it be academic. The reviews will vary from title-to-title as I record observations and document key thoughts. Really, the ultimate goal is to create a way for me to recall what I’ve read and make it accessible for future reviews. In the process, I hope to serve you and other readers interested in the same volumes.
